Orthopeadic - Microsurgeon
Dr. Alkiviadis Alkiviadous is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Belgrade in the former Yugoslavia. Then, after receiving one year of training in vascular surgery, he completed his specialty in orthopedics at KAT General Hospital of Athens with parallel work and training for a period of three years in the hand-microsurgery clinic of this hospital.
Subsequently, Dr. Alkiviadou worked as an orthopaedic microsurgeon for a period of 7 years at Makarios General Hospital in Nicosia.
He holds a PhD in medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on mixed wrist injuries.
He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Restorative Surgeon and member of the World Society of Microsurgery based in Chicago where he has been appointed as responsible for Cyprus and the Middle East.
Dr. Alkiviadous has a large participation in international microsurgery congresses with several publications and presentations of scientific papers that include the entire spectrum of microsurgery.
His presence internationally and the enormous clinical work of Dr. Alkiviadous make him one of the world’s leading microsurgeons.
Since 2003 he has been active in the private sector of medicine and is a partner of the American Medical Center.
