Clinical Assistant Professor European University Cyprus (EUC)

Dr Armeftis is a graduate of the English-speaking program of the medical school of the University of Semmelweis (Budapest) in Hungary. He then completed his specialty in pulmonology at the 1st University Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Athens at the”Sotiria” Chest Diseases Hospital.

In 2010 he obtained the European Diploma in Adult Pulmonology.

He earned a PhD in medicine from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He worked as a pulmonologist in Limassol General Hospital and Pulmonary clinic of Nicosia General Hospital.

Dr Armeftis participated in student training programs at the University of Nicosia Medical School and Cyprus University of Technology and is a clinical assistant professor of pulmonology at the European University of Cyprus.

His research interest is mainly on bronchial asthma with publications in international journals and abstracts in scientific conferences.

He is a member of the Cyprus Respiratory Society where he served as vice-president, he is a member of the Hellenic Respiratory Society and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Medical Association and the Cyprus Medical Council.
Dr. Armeftis is a private pulmonologist in Limassol since 2010 and is an associate doctor of the American Medical Center in Nicosia.
