Dr. Chrysi Georgousaki is a graduate of the English-speaking department of the medical school of Masaryk University, Czech Republic. This was followed by training in internal medicine and then in gastroenterology at the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete.

After a scholarship from the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society, she received further training in Royal Hallamshire UK University Hospital with a special interest in diseases and techniques involving the small intestine.

She holds many distinctions and awards in oral and written essays both in Greek but also at pan-European conferences.

She participated in many educational programs of Erasmus students, University of Nicosia but also the Greek Red Cross.

She has been a member of pan-European programs of multi-annual study andmonitoring treatments of diverticular disease and ulcerative colitis.

Her research activity and the subject of the study of the postgraduate thesis, concerned the inflammatory bowel diseases and anemia.

She is a member of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society, the Gastroenterological Society Cyprus, and the European Gastroenterological Society.

Dr. Georgousaki has been practicing private medicine since 2019 in Limassol.
