Dr. Efterpi Tingi graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She continued her medical training with the completion of the two-year Foundation Programme, which is required before specialty training in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Tingi is one of the few UK trained Gynaecologists in Cyprus who has started and completed a seven year specialty training post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).

In 2016 she became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). She was also trained in diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopy in both outpatient and theatre setting and she was accredited by the British Society of Colposcopy and Pathology (BSCCP).

During her last year of specialty training she specialised in high risk pregnancies, Gynecological Oncology, as well as treatment of vulval skin conditions, which are among her special interests. In 2020, following the completion of her training, she worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the North West of England for one year.

Dr. Tingi has been involved in teaching and training of medical students at the University of Manchester and the University of Lancaster, as well as specialty trainee doctors in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at the Edge Hill University. She has attended various courses and had many presentations in international and local conferences, as well as publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Tingi works in her private practice in Limassol and she is affiliated with the American Medical Centre in Nicosia.
