Dr Roussos Constantinos, MD, is a Hip and Knee specialist. He received his medical degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest in 2002. Upon completion of his residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, in 2008 at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) Switzerland, he simultaneously worked at the same hospital as a Consultant Surgeon (2009-2014 ) in the Orthopaedic Department which is specialised in Anterior Minimal Invasive Surgery (AMIS) of Hip and Knee surgery and is a global reference and teaching center.
During this period (2009-2014), he became a key member of the scientific team in the development of specialised surgical operations of Anterior Minimal Invasive Surgery (AMIS) for Hip and Knee.
He has written extensively on his subject and has given lectures worldwide presenting the latest developments and research results of the University Hospital of Geneva in the field of Hip and Knee Surgery.
In 2014 he returned to his native country, Cyprus where he continued working as a private Orthopaedic surgeon.
Dr. Roussos, having been the first to perform anterior minimal invasive hip surgery, has established this surgery in Cyprus since 2015 with excellent results. Since 2008 he has been certified for the AMIS (Anterior Minimal Invasive Surgery) in Medactas International reference centers and practices this approach since then. His dedication and technique in specialising in Anterior Minimal Invasive Surgery, has brought Cyprus as of 2024, to the forefont as a global training center.
Today he continues to practice surgery collaborating with hip and knee specialist surgeons in both Switzerland and Cyprus.
He is a member of the Swiss Medical Association (FMH), Medical Association of Geneva (AMGE) and the Cyprus Medical Association.
